      Has anyone bought spares from Franssens since we have left the EU.

      Are they now subject to additional duties.

        i haven’t as yet but just brought some parts from renel and they took there vat off, its been delivered and i haven’t been charged yet but the order was only 62 euros i also had to do it by proforma .  i also brought a part from neverlands and they took vat off but ups charged me vat before they would deliver.

          I bought some bits 2-3 weeks ago. Arrived by TNT a few days later. No additional charges.

            an update on the above – an invoice has just arrived for import duties.

              £135  is the magic figure in theory. Under this and there should be no import duty, courier fees etc I do think a lot of people , including courier firms, are not sure on the rules. VAT should be paid at one end or another but again that is all a bit vague.
