Well it seems if you ask questions and query the decision to cater for less than 10% of the membership people get very defensive and upset. I asked perfectly reasonable questions and got a reply which in short read as I cannot be bothered to answer you. I have been told I can go on a waiting list but to be honest with attitudes like this it seems new members are not welcome. I sent two e mails and that seems to be too much for the organiser. It seems I am being marked as a troublemaker for asking why people cannot attend on the day. Nowhere on any of the pieces I saw in FP did it state to attend you needed to book in to the Hotel. I am being reported to the Chairman and President it seems.
I could say a lot more but to be honest it is a waste of time when people cannot see a problem. Here is a suggestion for the next meeting, try getting up to date and have all members of the committee on the forum or shut it down. Add to that make it clear in articles about rallies exactly what is on offer.
