Engine is ready to go back into the car. I have done all the jobs that I needed to do.

The gearbox slotted back on nice with a tight fit onto the clutch plate, so hoping all my worrying on the thrust bearing will be for nothing…. 😕

Lovely new water pump…. not my green but it will be OK black 😮

And the last big piece was the oil pump – I am hoping this will raise the pressure from the original 2.5 bar I got when I first rebuilt the engine.

So tomorrow morning, I will back the car out so I can get the engine hoist round and put it back in. I have already signed up for a 2 days Rally Touristique with the Citroen Universelle club which is going up to the racing circuit of Nogaro, so it better all work 😀
