As was mentioned earlier, the cots of decent H Vans has rocketed, thanks to the cool hipsters who want to use them for street food vans.
There is one that is parked on the pavement at the McAuthur Glen Designer Outlet here in York – close inspection reveals that the engine has been removed and the space reworked as a cupboard.
The vehicle effectively becomes a trailer/caravan that is towed around to different events.

Graham Morton http://www.grahammortonvehicles.co.uk/ has been importing them for the past 3 years from France, I gather he has brought nearly 40 over to the UK.
Some are sold “as is” others undergo refurbishment ready to be fitted out with appliances.

If you are looking for one why not give him a ring and discuss your needs.

BTW, Graham has a gorgeous 1947 U23 Truck that he restored.

I have seen him advertising the vans. May well give him a shout but going to look on the coin first. There are at least 5 H vans in Spitalfields Market working as food outlets. I also noticed that on some the engine etc was gone. Prices can be a bit stupid it seems, one near here needs major work but they are looking at 5K plus for it, no chance from me.
